GfG at SEMICON Europa 2026 – Gas Detection for the Semiconductor Industry

From November 10 to 13, 2026, the European semiconductor industry meets at SEMICON Europa in Munich. GfG presents gas monitoring solutions at Hall C1 / Booth C1264 for the reliable detection of toxic, corrosive and flammable process gases in semiconductor manufacturing.

The focus is the D-ReX product family, which covers a wide range of measurement tasks in the fab and subfab, from monitoring individual process points to integration into higher-level gas monitoring systems.

Gas Monitoring for Semiconductor Fabs

Semiconductor manufacturing uses numerous highly reactive, toxic and flammable process gases. Even small leaks can pose risks to employees, production equipment and the availability of manufacturing processes.

GfG develops gas detection solutions specifically for the requirements of the semiconductor industry. The D-ReX product family supports different installation concepts for monitoring process gases and a large number of relevant target gases, including HF, HCl, Cl₂, NH₃, PH₃, AsH₃, B₂H₆ and SiH₄.

For gases that cannot be detected directly with a suitable sensor, Py-ReX adds an upstream pyrolysis stage to the system.

From Point-of-Use to System Integration

Gas monitoring in semiconductor fabs places different demands on each measuring point. For this reason, the D-ReX family includes various concepts for point-of-use, remote and extractive measurements.

Beyond reliable gas detection, system integration, maintenance effort and plant availability play a central role. Interfaces such as Modbus RTU/TCP, 4–20 mA and Power over Ethernet enable integration into different plant and monitoring concepts.

GfG also offers solutions for retrofit and migration projects in existing installations.
