From October 13 to 15, 2026, the international refrigeration, air conditioning and heat pump industry will meet at Chillventa in Nuremberg. GfG will present solutions for monitoring natural and synthetic refrigerants – from gas detection to evaluation and the control of safety measures.

Reliable Refrigerant Monitoring

Refrigeration systems and heat pumps are used in a wide range of industrial and commercial applications. Depending on the refrigerant used, leaks can create toxic, flammable or asphyxiation hazards, among others.

GfG provides gas detection solutions for monitoring natural refrigerants such as ammonia (NH₃), carbon dioxide (CO₂) and propane (R290) as well as various synthetic refrigerants. Solutions range from individual measuring points to networked fixed gas detection systems.

With the GMA200-F, GfG offers a controller specifically developed for refrigeration systems and heat pumps. A single controller can monitor up to 64 digital GfG transmitters and individually control up to four ventilation zones.
