Das Microtector II G460 wurde speziell für den persönlichen Schutz vor Gasgefahren entwickelt. Die robuste Bauweise erlaubt den Einsatz in einer Vielzahl von Anwendungen wie der Stahlindustrie, Raffinerien, dem Kanalbau und der Feuerwehr. Das kompakte Mehrgasmessgerät überwacht gleichzeitig bis zu sieben Gase. Zu diesem Zweck ist das G460 mit einem Wärmetönungs-Sensor für brennbare Gase und Dämpfe (0 bis 100 % UEG), einem Infrarotsensor (NDIR) und 3 elektrochemischen Sensoren für toxische Gase sowie Sauerstoff ausgestattet. Zusätzlich lässt sich anstelle eines der EC-Sensoren ein PID-Sensor für flüchtige organische Stoffe (VOCs) verwenden.
