EC22 DS Transmitter

Transmitter with dual sensor for carbon monoxide and nitrogen oxides

If carbon monoxide (CO) and nitrogen oxide (NO, NO2) need to be monitored simultaneously in underground car parks, the EC22 DS transmitter is a durable and economical solution. The EC22 DS transmits measured values and status notifications digitally (RS-485). In combination with GfG's reliable controllers, it is highly suited for use in any area where exhaust gases may accumulate, such as underground car parks and tunnels, and alarm and ventilation measures have to be implemented accordingly.

The EC22 DS uses two electrochemical (EC) sensors to detect the gases CO, NO and NO2. The different sensors measure the three gases in measuring ranges such as 0 to 10 ppm (NO, NO2) or 0 to 500 ppm (CO). Its automatic temperature compensation and the linearization of the measuring signals ensure high measuring accuracy.

Communication and service
The EC22 DS uses a digital RS-485 interface (Modbus protocol) to transmit signals. Test gases for function tests can be inserted using calibration adapters. The transmitter's operating status is indicated by a status LED. Service and adjustments can be carried out on site using a smartphone app or magnetic pen (one-person adjustment).
