FLORIAN – a Trade Fair for Firefighting, Civil Protection and Emergency Services
From October 10 to 12, the German city of Dresden will be a hub for stakeholders from all areas of the emergency services sector, from fighting fires to providing aid in natural disaster situations. More than 350 exhibitors will present their innovative products, technologies and concepts at FLORIAN. We will of course be amongst them and showcase our portable multi-gas detectors and their docking stations which allow you to charge and calibrate the detectors quickly and easily. For situations in which you know the gas dangers you will be facing ahead of time, we recommend the Micro 5, a portable gas detector for one or two electrochemical sensors which is perfect for sustainable CO detection and many other applications. Portable Gas Detectors and Connected Safety
Portable gas detectors are essential companions for all first responders. Toxic gases are generated in the combustion of different materials while smoke will often reduce the oxygen concentration in the in the air – a potentially life-threatening situation. There is also the additional danger of explosive gases and vapors. Our gas detectors can reliably detect these hazards and will warn you immediately. Bump testing all instruments before each use is crucial to ensure they are working as intended. Using our docking and test stations, this will only take seconds. The TeamLink allows a supervisor to monitor the measured values and alarms from up to ten portable gas detectors in real time while simultaneously checking the radio connection’s status. At FLORIAN 2024, GfG will be showcasing the latest innovations in gas detection technology to ensure that emergency services teams are always well equipped and don’t need to find themselves in unnecessarily dangerous situations.
